MonoCheck listens to the sound output from your PC when you play your movie at a normal volume. It samples the audio twice a second and compares the audio levels for the left and right channel. It displays a number that represents the difference in volume. If the sound is mono, then the levels should constantly be the same, and the display should show 0. At least that's the theory.
