Home - My Software - DvdpScheduler
Wouldn't it be neat if you had somebody who would do the boring maintenance on your DVD Profiler collection while you were sleeping or at work or whatever. Well, you can hire a servant, or you can just use DvdpScheduler!
It can run a backup of your collection!
It can export your collection to an XML-file that you can use with
ProfilerQuery or some other of my tools!
It can upload your collection!
It can make coffee for you in the morning!
OK, that last bit may have been a bit of wishful thinking (unless you happen to have a wi-fi enabled coffeemaker that can be started from a Windows program).
Please note that your PC must
be logged in when DvdpScheduler is to run its tasks. DVD Profiler does not
have to be running. DvdpScheduler will start it if it is not running (but
won't close it afterwards).
Also please note that DvdpScheduler is specifically designed to work with
an untranslated (US English) DVD Profiler.
Anyway, why don't you download it and give it a try?
This is an improved version of DvdpScheduler. Unlike earlier versions, it
does require that HTTPJolie plugin is installed.
Integration with DVDProfiler is a whole lot more reliable using HTTPJolie
than sending keystrokes between the programs.Version 2 is still available
in case you can't or don't want to use HTTPJolie.
This version has been re-developed from scratch, and has a different, more compact, user interface.
This illustration shows an example of how DvdpScheduler 3 can be
configured.
One significant change is that all tasks are now run on
background threads, so that the program does not become unresponsive while
tasks are running.
